Other scholarships for students

There are other ways of finding funding elsewhere:

  • at your own organization;
  • in your country;
  • in international organizations.

A first possibility is to look for assistance at you own university, your own department, your hospital, ... Maybe they want to cover a part of the costs, eventually in exchange for a few lectures of you after you have followed the programme. It may not seem easy but in a lot of cases this has shown to be the most effective way. Try to get in touch with some professors that you know, with directors of institutes, with church responsibles, ...

A second possibility is to try to get funding at the level of your country. Some countries grant scholarships allowing to study abroad. You can contact the ministry of Education of your country of origin or with the organism in charge of scholarships.

A third possibility is to get financial assistance through other organizations. Please find herewith a list with a few possibilities.
