2. Application procedure

  1. Fill in the preregistration form for students (Winword). Send the preregistration form + a letter of motivation by e-mail to masterbioethics@med.kuleuven.be
  2. Fill in the online application form:
    http://www.kuleuven.be/application/

3. Selection procedure

  • The selection committee - consisting of three representatives (one of each participating university) - decides about acceptance of the applicants and in addition about the grant of the scholarships. Acceptance to the programme does not imply implicitly the grant of the scholarship. The grant of a scholarship can only be decided upon after receiving all the applications and after the official approval of the European Commission.
  • It is possible that the selection committee invites you for an interview by telephone and/or webcam.
  • The selection procedure takes about 12 weeks.
  • You will receive the decision of the consortium by e-mail. After that the administrative procedure of admission will be started.

4. Student agreement

All students receive a written admission letter with the information on the program for which they are selected, the planned trajectory, and the conditions of the scholarship payment.

The consortium will also define the student's and the consortium's obligations in a Student Agreement that will be signed by both the students and the consortium at the start of the program. This agreement defines the rights and obligations of both parties and cover issues such as the participation costs charged to the student and what they cover, the organization and timing of the academic year together with the examination periods, the student's obligations concerning his/her attendance to the course/activities and academic performance, as well as the consequences for not respecting these obligations, the amount of the scholarship, the payment scheme with which it is paid and the conditions for interrupting the scholarship.
