Intensive Courses
The intensive courses deal with the basic topics in the field of bioethics. Among the topics included are palliative care and euthanasia, research ethics, ethics of genetics, nursing ethics... Every year various bioethics courses are offered. The topics taught at every university are based on the focus and strength of the research that is performed at these universities, which ensures that for each topic the best quality courses are offered in the programme.
The intensive courses are part of the Erasmus Mundus Master of Bioethics programme organised by a consortium of three European universities, namely the KU Leuven (Belgium), Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen (The Netherlands) and the Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy). Because of this combination, participants of the intensive courses will join Master students from all over the world.
