Steering committee

Each partner university has appointed one representative in the Steering Committee. This Steering Committee is responsible for all matters concerning the academic and operational aspects of the Master of Bioethics. The actual members of the Steering Committee are:

• Paul Schotsmans, PhD, Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law, Faculty of Medicine, K.U.Leuven, Belgium 
• Pascal Borry, PhD, Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law, Faculty of Medicine, K.U.Leuven, Belgium
• Wim Dekkers, MD, PhD, Department of Ethics, Philosophy and History of Medicine, University Medical Centre, University of Nijmegen, The Netherlands
• Corrado Viafora, MD, Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Medicine, University of Padova

Course coordinators

For every course a course coordinator is appointed. Course coordinators are responsible for the coherence, content and teaching of their course. They teach in the programme in their own research field, contact guest teachers, gather preparatory reading materials for their course and are responsible for holding exams.

Central coordination

The K.U.Leuven functions as coordinator in the communication with the students, the follow-up of applications and the coordination of publicity and PR-activities. Please click here for more information.
