Programme Committee (POC)

The programme committee paves the road of education and curriculum and defines the educational resources (course units, didactical methods, etc.) of the degrees. The decisions the POC takes have to be confirmed by the Faculty Board and the Executive Committee. Moreover, the POC is responsible for a continuous assessment of the course programme.
The lecturers, assistants and researchers are all part of the POC's. Even the students have their say through representatives in the commissions. Each degree within the Faculty of Medicine has their own specific teaching commission.
Study programme
Each student at the K.U.Leuven is required to enter his/her individual programme specifications in the ISP. The programme guide (Dutch) gives an overview of the rules and conditions which have to be met in order to construct your study programme.
Information sessions are planned every year of which you will be notified beforehand. If you have any additional questions, please contact the programme coordinator.
Once you fill in your ISP, you will be able to access your individualised class schedule. The schedules of all courses and degrees can be found in the programme guide (choose the course and click on schedule).
