Biomedical Sciences

You're interested or even passionate about the functioning of the human body and are curious to know more about the origin and development of diseases. Positive sciences are not a burden but a challenge for you. Moreover you are blessed with a good memory and have aptitude for practical and accurate work. If all of this applies to you, the course in biomedical sciences may be a fit for you!

Dentistry

Do you like working with people, but also enjoy precise work that requires fine motor skills? If you also have good vision and concentration, plus the necessary intellectual skills, then the course in dentistry is certainly within your reach. In order to enroll in this course, you will need to pass the entrance exam.

 

Medicine

Are you someone with a great sense of duty who is also a people person? Do you have wit, empathy and a keen sense of observation? Then the study of medicine might be something for you.

 

Language therapy and audiology sciences

Not only positive sciences such as physics or physiology, but also human sciences such as psychology and linguistics are an interest to you. You also have a strong fascination in the prevention, detection and treatment of speech, language and hearing disorders for which you are willing to train your own speech, language and hearing. If so, the course in language therapy and audiology will certainly make you feel at home.

 

Human sexuality studies

Do you have a strong interest in medicine, biology as well as psychology in combination with a strong ethical sense? Would you like to be able to assess general statements on sexuality based on their scientific merit?  Do you already posess an academic bachelor in philosophy, sociology, ... then the preparatory programme (Dutch) in human sexuality studies could be one of your options. If you have a professional bachelor in nursing, social work, teaching, ... than you can enroll in the bridging programme (Dutch). Bachelors and masters (of science) in psychology, educational sciences, medicine, criminology, ... may immediately register for the master's programme (only in Dutch).

Nursing and midwifery

Do you have a professional bachelor degree in nursing or midwifery and do you wish to get a more profound scientific training? Are you a social person and would you like to develop better leadership skills? Then choose for a master of science in nursing and midwifery.

 

Health care management and policy

The master of science in health care management and policy is accessible to bachelors in business economics, majoring in management and policy in health care and for bachelors in political and social sciences. Holders of a certificate of the bridging programme in master of science in health care management and policy can start with the course. If you have a different background, you can inquire about the specific course requirements.
