Research
The Biostatistical Centre conducts research in several areas, such as longitudinal data analysis, incomplete data, survival analysis, and Bayesian methods, among others. This research has led to several publications in highly qualified international journals, in software, and in collaborative projects.
Statistical consulting Biomedical Sciences
To all researchers of the Group biomedical sciences we offer consultation to provide statistical advice on various methodological and statistical aspects of the research project. Free advice is provided through scheduled one hour consulting appointments. Further, we also offer in-depth collaborative consulting, including analysis of your data, writing of a statistical report and incorporation of the results in your article(s). For more information and/or to schedule an appointment, please contact Steffen Fieuws.
Interuniversity Institute for Biostatistics and statistical Bioinformatics (I-BioStat)
The Interuniversity Institute for Biostatistics and statistical Bioinformatics (I-BioStat) unites the Hasselt Biostatistics and statistical Bioinformatics Center (H-BioStat), also known as Center for Statistics (CenStat), and Leuven Biostatistics and statistical Bioinformatics Centre (L-BioStat) (formerly the Biostatistical Centre). More details about I-Biostat can be found in this flyer or in this presentation.
