Mobility scheme

The Erasmus Mundus Master of Bioethics is a one year programme running from the end of September till the end of June. Students enrolled in this programme are full-time students.

Each participating university provides a cluster of courses for the period the students are staying in their institution and guides the students in their research activities. The students stay approximately an equal period of time in the three partner institutions. In September all students are welcomed in Leuven. They will participate in orientation days organized by the university and will receive the opportunity to study Dutch, Italian or another language.

The time schedule will approximately be the following:

• September: Official opening of the academic year at K.U.Leuven, Belgium
• September: Arrival of international students: language courses, orientations days...
• September till end of December: courses and exams at K.U.Leuven, Belgium
• January till end of March: courses and exams at R.U.Nijmegen, The Netherlands
• April till end of June: courses and exams at University of Padova, Italy

For those who want to combine work and studies, the Erasmus Mundus Master of Bioethics offers the possibility to spread the programme over a period of two or three years. Students enrolled in this programme are part time students.
